I went in as a total beginner, nervous about swinging a club anywhere near other people, and ended up at 42 Tee-Off — a driving range that's been sitting quietly in the middle of Sukhumvit since 2001.
Timing is everything here
The range gets busy right after sunset, when the heat finally breaks and locals show up after work. I went the opposite way — right before sunset, in that in-between hour most people skip. I expected an indoor simulator setup based on the name, but the range is actually open-air, wrapped in tall protective netting with the sky fully visible above. Standing at the tee, you get Bangkok's skyline stretched out directly in front of you.
